Design and Technology
Our Design and Technology curriculum at Ranvilles Infant School helps children become creative problem solvers and confident makers. Through hands-on projects, children learn to design, make, and evaluate their own creations, using real-life examples and a variety of tools. We encourage teamwork, independence, and reflection, helping children develop important skills for the future. Teachers plan engaging lessons that build technical knowledge and creativity, and children’s progress is shared with families through our online Tapestry Journal. Our aim is for every child to enjoy DT, feel proud of their achievements, and be ready to use their skills in everyday life.
