Music
At Ranvilles Infant School, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of music through exciting, inclusive and engaging musical experiences. Children develop their skills as performers, composers and listeners through a carefully planned curriculum that builds progressively from EYFS to the end of Key Stage 1. Singing is at the heart of school life, with regular opportunities for children to sing, play a range of instruments, create music and perform to audiences. Through concerts, celebrations, enrichment opportunities and everyday musical experiences, children build confidence, creativity, wellbeing and a sense of belonging. We want every child to see themselves as a musician and to leave Ranvilles with the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to enjoy and participate in music throughout their lives.
