Art Club

This term Art Club has been inspired by the artist Frida Kahlo who was a Mexican artist most known for her self-portraits and bold vibrant colours.

We created our own self-portraits and painted them using watercolour paints.

We used different objects to print backgrounds.

Here is our final work which is on display in the school library.

This term Art Club has been inspired by the story of the Rainbow Fish. We started by printing using blue, green and white to make the ocean background. We then used collage to create our rainbow fish including shiny paper for the shiny scales. Finally we experimented with watercolour paints and other media to create some under the sea creatures.
